THE BOOK

Most crypto books
start in the wrong place.

Why Crypto starts with the money you already use, and what went wrong with it. Bitcoin, blockchain and tokens only make sense once you understand the problem they were built to answer. Six chapters, plain language, no hype.

Chapters, in order

Structured from first principles to the hard questions. Read start to finish, or jump.

WHAT'S INSIDE

Six chapters, fundamentals to the future.

Each one stands on the last. By the end you can read a whitepaper, judge a token, and spot a bad argument on your own.

01

Understanding Bitcoin

What Bitcoin actually is, how it came to exist, and why it is a fundamentally different approach to moving value than anything before it.

02

How Blockchain Works

Distributed ledgers, consensus, and immutability, explained without the diagrams that assume you already know. Why trust can be replaced with proof.

03

Why Decentralisation Matters

What removing a central point of control actually buys you, and what it costs. Applied to money, to data, and to personal sovereignty.

04

Tokenomics Explained

How tokens are designed, what supply schedules really signal, and how to tell genuine utility from a well-produced pitch deck.

05

Stablecoins & Lending

How a peg is actually held, how decentralised lending works under the hood, and exactly where the risk sits in each of them.

06

Risks, Regulation & Beyond

A straight look at what can go wrong, how regulation is moving jurisdiction by jurisdiction, and what the long arc plausibly looks like.

ABOUT THE BOOK

It begins with the problem, not the product.

Before you can understand what cryptocurrency is, you have to understand why anyone bothered to build it.

The opening chapters go where most crypto resources skip: the structural problems in fiat currency, the long history of monetary debasement, and what happens to purchasing power when the supply is set by committee.

From there the book traces Bitcoin's origins properly. The cypherpunks, Satoshi's whitepaper, and the specific design decisions that made a decentralised digital currency work for the first time after decades of failed attempts.

The middle breaks down the mechanics in plain language. How blocks get made, what consensus is really doing, why immutability matters, and how a cryptographic proof stands in for an institution you would otherwise have to trust.

Then token economics: what gives a token utility, how supply and demand behave in a network nobody owns, and where stablecoins, lending protocols and the wider DeFi landscape fit.

The closing chapters are the ones most books leave out. Security risk, regulatory uncertainty, volatility, and the real challenges decentralised systems have not solved yet. Crypto is not treated as an inevitability. It is treated as a bet worth understanding before you make it.
