Trade Alert(S)

3 min read

I hope everyone is having a great week so far. I was talking to my friend Shash at Altcoin Buzz (Great Channel) and we were discussing Bitcoin Ordinals. It’s essentially a decentralized marketplace like Uniswap but for Bitcoin. Now it is a bit difficult to do trades on this. It is not the most user friendly DEX. THIS IS NOT FOR EVERYONE. This is a bit more complicated.

Heidi will be doing a video on this shortly but in the meantime I ended up buying a mid cap called ORDI and also the microcap CNCL.

What the Ordinals protocol does is to write information to each Satoshi, such as text, pictures, audio and video, etc. Due to the size limit of the Bitcoin block, the main information for inscribe (that is, mint mint) is mainly text and pictures , in the form of NFT and token.

How I bought

I had to download https://unisat.io/

Then I added the Chrome Extension

I then created my password

I then wrote down my seed phrase (ON A PIECE OF PAPER)!!!!!! Never on the computer. I also turned off my internet before.

After writing I clicked out of that and turned on the internet again.

I then went over to Binance, bought some Bitcoin (I didn’t buy a whole one. Just a bunch of sats to purchase ORDI and CNCL)

I waited for the Bitcoin to hit my Unisat wallet

I then went to https://unisat.io/market and connected my Unisat wallet

I then went to https://unisat.io/market?tick=ordi&tab=1 to buy ORDI and clicked buy. I had to sign and that was it.

I then went to https://unisat.io/market?tick=Cncl&tab=1 to purchase CNCL.

I clicked on the market place and found the box that I could afford and purchased that. Sometimes it is difficult to purchase exactly the amount that you might desire so if you cannot find the perfect price, check back later. I know that may be frustrating but this is very early in the game imo. As time goes on, it will get much easier.

I hope that helps

I put in 1 percent of my cash into these. It is very experimental but the ecosystem is growing rapidly.
